The University of Montana College of Humanities and Sciences will host “Gender in Everyday Life: A Dialogue in Humanities and Sciences” at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, April 24, in Interdisciplinary Sciences Building Room 110. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of woman suffrage in Montana, communication studies Professor Sara Hayden and anthropology Professor Kimber McKay will examine the ways in which gender identities and assumptions shape daily experiences in a variety of places and contexts. The dialogue will be moderated by Women’s and Gender Studies Program Co-Chair Anya Jabour. The event is free and open to the public, and a light reception will follow.
