Q: How do I get advising?
A: COMM faculty will post advising times on their office doors. Stop by and sign up for a time.
Q: How do I find an advisor?

Q: When will COMM course numbers and the prefix change?
A: Beginning with courses offered Fall semester, 2013, COMM is now COMX! See the conversion chart to learn the new course numbers.
Q: How do I find the old course numbers for any course on campus and how they compare to the new ones?
A: See Common Course Numbering for more information.
Q: When are graduation applications for spring 2014 due?
A. They were due in the COMM Department on Friday, September 20, 2013.
Q: Why are so many graduation applications turned back from the COMM department chair?
A: They are turned back because they are incomplete. It is imperative that you specify which catalogue you are using for your major requirements. Moreover, once you pick a catalogue, make sure that the classes you have selected are the same as the courses offered in that particular catalogue.
Our faculty are happy to write letters of recommendation with advance notice. We typically need two weeks to write a letter. Please read the attached "So, You Want a Letter of Recommendation?" and follow the steps outlined.
