Creative Writing Program 2013-2014 Reading Series
Each semester the Creative Writing Program presents readings by highly acclaimed visiting writers, professors and lecturers. The Fall 2013 & Spring 2014 Reading Series features Jo Ann Beard, Sherwin Bitsui, Chris Dombrowski, Major Jackson, the Merriam-Frontier Award Winner, Walter Kirn and Jess Walter.
At the end of spring semester, graduating MFA students present a portion of their thesis work at a celebratory reading. These events are held at various venues on campus and throughout town.
A Sunday night tradition, Second Wind presents work by second-year students in the MFA program, alongside work by local and established writers and performers.
