Using Numerical Methods for Sampling in Inverse Problems
John Bardsley
University of Montana
My area of research focus has been Inverse Problems since I began work on my PhD dissertation. My early work in inverse problems focused on the development of computational methods for their solution. Over the years since, I have become increasingly interested in using statistical methods for solving inverse problems. In this talk, I will present some of my recent work, which sits at the interface of computational math, stat, and inverse problems.
