The existential void in learning: Juxtaposing mathematics and literature

Abstract

In this chapter unusual relations between mathematics and literature are examined in the context of a number theory problem and contemporary literary work. Lakatosí proofs and refutations is employed as a methodology for the purposes of classroom implementation.
