PURPOSE The purpose of this course is to empower citizens to protect their watersheds as good watershed citizens. This course is also available for academic credit.
OBJECTIVES This course gives an overview of how watersheds work (watershed science), how people depend on watersheds, how people protect watersheds (laws, policies, programs, citizen action), and how you can find out more about watersheds through references, resources and links.
FOCUS

Watersheds differ across the globe in their physical nature and human communities.

Watershed CPR concepts are illustrated here with watersheds of the Northern Rockies and High Plains.

APPROACH This course will help you to 'think like a watershed' by sailing the 7 C's of watershed conservation.
